Don't Waste That Halloween Candy!

My kids, like so many of yours, had a delightful time strolling the neighborhood this past Saturday evening. Even with only visiting a dozen or so houses, they brought in quite a haul.

So what did I do?

Raided their treat buckets while they slept.

No, no, it's not as bad as you may think.

I pulled out a bunch of chocolate candy, chopped it with like candy bars and bagged and labeled it for future baking use.

Kit Kat blondies, anyone? Reeses Brownies?

At my fingertips. And that works for me.

Great idea. My kids don't usually like the candy bars as much as the sour stuff anyway.
